Law 1: Ban Breakups

Hey! It sucks SO bad that last week my boyfriend broke up with me. It's really hard to get over him, as he's kind of in my friendship group. Anyway, may philosophy is:

WHEN ALL THE OTHER GUYS LET YOU DOWN, HARRY'S THE MAN. So this means that, yes,I am reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for the ONE ZILLIONTH time.

I had my technology and english exams yesterday. I was nearly having a panic attack about english, because I'm REALLY bad at it. At least I finished with time to spare, though.

UPDATE!!!

Hey!!! I haven't updated in forever because my life right now is MENTAL. I have my mock GCSEs in a week tomorrow, my boyfriend is driving me CRAZY, my computer is dying, and I'm virtually broke. Some pictures to bring you up to date:

I had to get new friends in June, because I realised my previous ones were bad news. These new guys are GREAT, and they helped me meet my current boyfriend in October, whom I LOVE. It's so worth the crap the old guys gave me, it's made me a better person with my new friends!

I have a NEW Youtube channel, Geekcombatters: http://www.youtube.com/user/geekcombatters. And am hoping to do some videos with my friends soon and to promote our BAND, The House Elf Liberation Front.

On Thursday night I went to school to apply for A-levels next year. I'm hoping to do french, german, maths and psychology which I'm MAJORLY excited about, as next year I won't have to wear school uniform or be in school 6 hours a day. I can't wait!

BEST SCHOOL DAY EVER!

Hey! So yesterday, I went back to school after the Easter holidays. I found out my science results, which I am ecstatic about, as I thought I'd failed! I got an A on my biology paper, and a B on my physics paper. I now only need 44 more marks to secure a B overall - yay! I wrote my letter to ask about being a prefect, and then after school I went to see Steve Vander Ark, who was launching his recently legalised Harry Potter Lexicon. There were only 5 of us - all girls - and then 2 Borders staff there, but the discussion we had was great! Steve's such a nice chap, who got all excited when my sister revealed that she, like him, is a Ginny fan! Before the discussion, my sister and I were reading the Lexicon on the sofa in the children's section and he came over and we complained together about how ridiculous it was to have so many lengthy disclaimers in the book.

Osterferien!

Hey! It's finally the Easter Holidays! At the weekend I went to see The Boat That Rocked, which was an awesome film, absolutely hilarious! I then started to have a Pokemon obsession, and ending up cleaning myself out by buying 2 new Pokemon games. On Monday, I had to waitress, then went to DODS where I found out which part I got in Bugsy Malone. I am Tilly, one of the singing girls. There was some controversy as to who got the part of Bugsy, as his parents lead our theatre group, but they're sorting that out.

Yesterday, I had to look after 2 girls while their mother was at work and it was SO tiring! I was really surprised and feel a little sorry for her, even though they are really nice.

Today, I FINALLY got to have a lie in but ended up watching Pokemon DP Battle Demension instead. I basically did nothing all day, except play logic puzzles on the internet and make couscous for lunch.

I'm In!

Hey! Yesterday, I got a call saying that I got into Bugsy Malone! I don't know which part I got yet, but I will find that out on Monday. All my other friends from DODS seem to have got in also.

Today, I had a really bad science lesson, where sometime soon we will have to have a meeting with the headmaster during lunch to discuss our 'bad behaviour'. This definitely isn't down to me, and the main culprit is an idiot who got put in our class by accident. It is most annoying. On the bright side though, I got a new bike today, which was a complete bargain of £80 with £100 off. It's amazing! Also, we break up for the Easter Holidays tomorrow, and I'm earning a lot of money through childminding and waitressing.

1 hour bus journey

Hey! Today, I had a 1 hour bus journey - this is getting ridiculous. It usually takes 7 minutes, but the bus we go on has to go through Coaley as well, taking 45 minutes. This afternoon, however, the driver clipped 2 cars, argued with both owners, missed the turning to my village so had to go all the way through Slimbridge, find somewher to turn round, and then come back out. I was just using google street view to look at popular sights in London, for when my sister and I got to the capital in July.

How to: Podcasting

Hey! Yesterday, I went to a meeting about Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award. For my volunteering section, I'm going to WWT in Slimbridge, for my sport section, I'm playing squash, and for my skills section, my friend Kacey and I are creating a podcast. If anyone has any tips on how to create one, I would like to know.
Today at school, I went to choir at lunch and handed in my letter about next year's music tour to Croatia. I also had drama, where we were creating still images to do with the story of Blood Brothers. It was a lot of fun.

Enterprising

Hey! Today I went on this really crappy trip to Cattle Country (a local adventure park) where we were taught enterprising skills and strictly told not to touch any of the fun stuff there by the teachers. Instead of actually doing today's work I just sat around reading Vogue, when I came across a competition where you can win a month's free internship at Vogue. You have to write an essay about a most painful essay, so I'm trying to think of an interestingly weird way of writing it to stand out. I also just bought my mum a mother's day present, as I don't think I'm going to Bristol on Saturday.

Le weekend!

Hey! My weekend was ok, I guess. Yesterday my sister and I went to see Confessions of a Shopaholic in Stroud, were we also did about 20 minutes of shopping. I bought a Harry Potter 20Q in Home Bargains for £1.99! An absolute bargain! The movie was very funny, with gorgeous clothes. Today, in between the lashings of rain, I went for another jog, which was a little bit more of a struggle as everywhere was so slippery! I'm also debating whether or not to ask out this guy at school, who's kinda weird, but really nice.

Hey! I've just been out for a run, which is very unlike me as I usually prefer to sit on my computer, blogging. It wasn't the most fun I've ever had, but it felt good to have actually done it.

School was ok, I had yet another 2 hours of science, and we watched some videos we'd made in German, which were godawful. They were about ailments and afflictions, and Kerry was meant to be the doctor while I was the patient, with a pencil sticking out of my eye. It was most odd.

Oi with the science already!

Hey! Today I had yet again more science. We had a day of something called an ISA, which is the new name for science coursework. It was five whole hours of experimenting, graph and table plotting and another exam, which accounts for 25% of our final grade. The investigation we had to execute was how caffeine affects reaction times. I'd had so many glasses of coka by the end of the day, I was buzzing! I also put this cute plait in my hair which I thought looked really pretty, and pulled back my annoying fringe to do the experiment. I have 2 more hours of science tomorrow!

Hey! I had my biology and physics exams today. Biology was kinda hard, but physics was relatively easy, although I still don't think I'm going to get good grades. I also finished my bag in textiles today, and it's turned out relatively well. Anyway, I'm going to go off to bed now, my lack of sleep owing to excess revision has caught up with me.

Aarrgh! Les Examens!

Hey! I'm freaking out while watching the last episode of Friends as I've got physics and biology exams tomorrow. As soon as I'd got home from school I've been revising non-stop. We saw a play this afternoon, about staying in school after GCSEs, which was very weird. We also got told about an end of year trip, as this will be the last time we break up in July. I was thinking about either Alnick Castle (aka Hogwarts), Leavesden Studios (where they film Harry Potter) or seeing a musical, like Oliver or Wicked.

Anyway, for sixth form I've decided I want to leave Rednock, and go somewhere like Headington Girl's school in Oxford or something.

Hey! I'm back, and it's been almost a month! I just needed some time off to re-rally my lust for blogging. Just a quick catch up: We had a total of 3 snow days, last week was half term holiday and I have been flat out revising for my GCSE physics and biology exams for Wednesday :s I also opened a Twitter account yesterday, and I'm Twitter mad! Snow Day!!!

Hey! Today, I didn't have to go to school because it was snowing so badly. I was very relieved, as it meant I didn't have to have my jabs. I did take a picture of Kathryn making a snow angel, but my new phone is making it difficult to transfer it on to my computer, so tomorrow I'm going to find out my bluetooth converter to take the pictures off. I just bought loads of tracks off iTunes to enjoy, including Ladyhawke and Keane.

RIP Rolo

Hey! Yesterday, my hamster Rolo died, not long before I went to clean him out. I couldn't bare to touch him, so mum had to come and take him away, ironically burying him in a 3 Chatons box. Today though, me and my mum went to Pets At Home to purchase a new one. I got a little girl this time; she's quite dark and her name is Nymphadora Tonks, after the Harry Potter character.

Yesterday, I spent most of the morning cleaning out Rolo's old cage, ready for the new hamster, the rest of the day moping about then watching Fame in the evening. It's a very good film.

Hello Dolly!

Hey! I just went out to DODS costume department to ask about joining wardrobe for Hello Dolly. They're not ready for people to start yet, but Ros will call me when she's ready to dole out jobs. I also got a letter today about having some jabs for diptheria, polio and tetanus. Am absolutely terrified, as I haven't had an injection for ages, and really don't want it to hurt.

Hey! I just had this crazy freak out as I thought I had just lost my textile folder, but it turns out it was in my guitar case (don't ask.) Am currently watching the new series of 90210. It's quite good, and Kellan Lutz from Twilight is in it (drool.)
School was ok, am so pleased I don't have to go to DODS this week, but tomorrow I am thinking of going to see the costume department to ask if they require my services. I went to a Duke of Edinburgh meeting today, where Mr Griffiths took down my email address and details. I'm quite excited. Kathryn and I also started planning our sister bonding trip to Bristol on Friday, as we have an inset day.

DODS out!

Hey! I'm so exhausted as I've just had an entire week of doing the follow spot for the DODS pantomime, which if I said it went without a hitch, I would be lying. The leading lady was ill for several days, one girl danced so exuberantly every show she hit her head at least once per show, my sister's iPod got crushed by a props table and Ian kept missing his sound cues because Dave kept swapping over his lines. I'm so glad we've finished, as I started to realise my exhaustion was starting to make my grades slide. Sadly, my boyfriend broke up with me this week as well, and subsequently turned kinda nasty, which sucks as we often have to work together.
Today, I had to clean out the hall where we held the panto really early in the morning, and then I had to waitress for someone's 98th birthday. I was pleased my ex wasn't there.

Freakin' out!

Hey! I'm starting to freak out about getting my science GCSE results from November on Thursday. Lewis has promised he'll open the letter for me, but I'm really worried. I know I'll get a D and have to resit, which I'll hate. I also have a french oral tomorrow, which I'm also worried about as I haven't had enough time to prepare, with DODS starting back up. Questions include: "What do you think about marriage?" and "What do you generally do on a typical Saturday night?" Whe Euan complained that these questions were just a tad personal, the teacher told him not to think that way.

Frizzy!

Hey! It was so wet today, my hair was straight for two seconds then frizzed right back out again. Let's just say it was a Hermione day!
At the weekend, I had the new boyf Lewis over, where we chilled, and then on Sunday I helped DODS move the pantomime things from Kingshill House to Lister Hall. It was so tiring, as I kept lugging stage weights and then they didn't need them!

Hey! I'm sorry I've been gone for a while, it's been a bit hectic after christmas, I've been so tired with schoolwork since I've been back, and on my birthday I only had an hour and a half of sleep. my days are still a bit mixed up and so I haven't got back into my regular routine.

I handed in my next module of textile work today, but I don't think I did as well as I did on the last one.
