Oh dear God! Despite today's humidity, the pier at Weston-Super-Mare burnt down in the early hours of this morning. It's a shame, 'cause I was thinking of taking the train down there sometime this holiday. Ah well, what's another disappointment? Another day of boredom? On the plus side, the person who normally employs me to babysit her children wants me to childmind her children one day sometime, so that should be good.I took the dog for a walk today, and raced him back. Big mistake. It's so hot and humid I've been sweating buckets ever since.
